Virginia Beach Fishing with Legacy Charters!
Virginia Beach Fishing, whether inshore or offshore can be a very exhilarating experience.
Virginia Beach is pretty much a sportsman’s paradise with the allure of the Atlantic Ocean along the coast and the well known Chesapeake Bay just around the shoreline. You have to ask yourself, do you want to put a big flounder in the box or would you rather be hooked up to an awesome billfish such as a white marlin or maybe a hard fighting wahoo?
Virginia Beach Fishing is not just for the professional sport fisherman either. With Legacy Charters your Captain will put you on the fish and teach the fishing newcomers a few things too. A group of buddies or a family with kids will have something to remember for many years.
Chesapeake Bay fishing offers up many species of fish to take home to the dinner table. Your party can catch flounder, cobia, tautog, drum, to smaller fish like spot and croaker. Now if its Virginia Beach deep sea fishing you want then you are in store for a treat with billfish that can strip a reel clean. We are talking about white marlin, wahoo, tuna, dolphin and even wreck fishing where the sea bass and tilefish hang out.
I started as bait boy on my dads charter boat when I was five, and have been running charters for over 28 years. Your First Mate, Luke or Brandon, are life long fisherman and highly experienced. He will be there for every charter to assist with anything you may need help with, and of course, to make your Chesapeake Bay or Atlantic Ocean fishing experience a memorable one.
If you are ready to take part in a Virginia Beach fishing trip that you will talk about for years to come then get “hooked up” with Captain Bill Jenkins by calling 757-404-5406 or by email.
Thanks for checking us out, and tight lines!
Capt. Bill comes from a long line of fisherman. A fourth generation captain, Capt. Bill started out as baitboy at the age of 5 on his dad’s boat, the “Miss Cathy“. At the age of 23, he got his captain’s license and ran charter boats for several other captain’s until he got his first boat, the “Southern Belle” in 1996. In 2002 the business was moved down to Virginia Beach from Reedville and we haven’t looked back. In 2007 the “Challenger II” was welcomed to the family, and we made plenty of friends and caught lots of fish in the years following. In the fall of 2014, God smiled on us and blessed us with the “Legacy”, a 52′ Custom Carolina built by Buddy Davis. She has an incredible ride, well appointed salon, and the latest electronics. We hope you will come and let us show you what the local waters have to offer.
Your first mate, Luke or Brandon depending on whose turn it is, are seasoned fisherman with years of experience to their credit. Familiar with all of the local species, Capt. Bill and your mates work well together to make sure your fishing experience is a great one. Whether it’s freshening up your bait, giving you tips on how to hook a keeper, or helping you land a whopper, you can be sure they will do their best to make your trip successful. Your mate does work only for tips however, and the customary 20% is appreciated.
