Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge
Located near the Savannah River in the heart of the low country of South Carolina, Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge has earned the reputation as one of the premiere hunting lodges in the Southeast. With comfortable accommodations, fine southern home cooking and a wonderful relaxed sportsman’s atmosphere, you can be assured that your visit to Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge will be both enjoyable and unforgettable. Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge offers semi-guided hunts for whitetail deer, wild boar, eastern wild turkey and alligators on over 8,000 acres of quality managed land with 100% fair chase hunting opportunities in hardwood bottoms, planted pines, swamps, cut over areas and along field edges. Stands are located strategically throughout the property near seasonal food plots, supplemental food sources and/or corn feeders to attract and keep resident game populations at their highest as well as offer both comfort and visibility for the hunter. It is our belief that healthy food, good cover and restricted harvests equal sustained game populations and in return create a healthy and renewable resource for our guests to enjoy for years to come. So whether you pursue your quarry with gun, muzzleloader, bow or pistol, the Cypress Creek staff can adjust to meet your hunting goals and needs. Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge is also excited to assist the needs of families with youth hunters or those hunters who may be physically challenged, (limited).
About this trip
Welcome to Cypress Creek’s exclusive hunting opportunity located in the heart of the South Carolina Lowcountry near the Savannah River. More than 20 years in the making and steeped in tradition by the owners of the renowned Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge.
Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge proudly boasts a quality trophy whitetail habitat that is second-to-none in the area. Pristine hardwood stands and thick pine groves blend naturally with swamps, lakes, thickets and open fields to create an ideal environment for its wildlife inhabitants. Carefully selected and rigidly controlled food plots are meticulously maintained to ensure that the magnificent bucks and does are at their peak.
Strategically located stands provide safety, exclusivity and an unparalleled view of Mother Nature at her best. While eagles soar overhead, foxes, coyotes, bobcats, turkeys, wild boars and whitetails roam freely below. With an average ratio of one stand for every 50 acres of land, multiple deer sightings and opportunities are assured.
Hunts are exclusive and offered only in select seasons for a very limited number of trophy hunters. Harvested trophy bucks must sport 8 points or better with a minimum outside spread of 16 inches, but many of our bucks far exceed these requirements. Whether guests prefer guns, bows and arrows or just binoculars, our knowledgeable guides are available with the expertise to optimize the day.
* Wild hogs and coyotes may be taken on all trophy hunts at no extra charge.
*** Buck tags must be purchased from the SC DNR.
