About this trip

Hunt upland birds (including pheasant, quail, and chukar) in privacy and safety six days a week from October through March! Experience the tradition of hunting as it should be — classic cover, classic gamebirds, and classic dog work!

Meadowview’s bobwhite quail program produces the closest thing to wild birds possible! Real covey flushes and scattered singles provide authentic quail hunting to the demanding hunter.

Wild ringneck pheasant nestled in natural bottomland cover and cornfields re-create the exciting pheasant hunts of yesteryear!

Chukar hidden in woodland underbrush and flushing through the trees create a true challenge for shooters of all levels!

Meadowview Preserve Upland Hunting Rules and Club Policies

To make hunts enjoyable and safe for all our guest, please read our upland hunting rules and club policies.

Schedule – Open October through March 6 days a week, including Sundays. We are closed Tuesdays. Hunt times are 8:30 AM to Noon, and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Safety – Hunting parties are limited to 4 people. Quail hunting only 2 hunters are permitted to shoot on each flush. All posted safety zones must be respected by hunters.

Firearms – No gauge larger than 12 may be used. No gun can be capable of holding more than 3 shells.

Shot Size – No shot size larger than 6 may be used.

Legal – All hunters are required to sign a no hold, no harm agreement and to receive hunter safety instruction prior to hunting.

Hunter Orange – All hunters are required to wear hunter orange in compliance with NJ state law and club policy.

License – All hunters must have a valid NJ hunting license. One-day licenses are available at the farm for upland hunts. No bag limits. A NJ pheasant and quail stamp is not required to hunt on commercial preserves. However, all shot birds leaving the property must be tagged. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that he/she does not remove birds from the property until they have been properly tagged.

Weekday Special (Monday-Friday ONLY): One man, 4 pheasant OR 5 chukar OR 10 quail – $100.00

Two-man Special 10 pheasant OR 12 chukar OR 20 quail – $280.00

The Uplander (1-4 hunters): 16 pheasant OR 20 chukar OR 36 quail – $380.00

The Big Shoot (1-4 hunters): 24 pheasant OR 30 chukar OR 54 quail – $550.00

Season Upland Package 50 pheasant OR 65 chukar OR 125 quail (mixed bags can be arranged) – $1,150.00

Extra Bird Prices Pheasant – $23.00, Chukar – $15.00, Quail- $9.00

Tower Shoots High-flying action! Retrievers included! 300 pheasant – $250.00 per gun**; 200 pheasant $200.00 per gun**
