Southern Outdoorsman Guide Service
Experience You Can Trust
We guarantee effective and knowledgeable bass fishing guides for you, your family, or your business. Our reputation and history of success with our clients or their business speaks for itself, but we do have a list of testimonials. There's no substitution for the best with the longest experience.
U.S.C.G. Licensed Captains
Largemouth bass fishing and maneuvering on waters that connect, in one way or another, to the ocean requires special knowledge and navigational expertise. It is a requirement by the State of Florida to have a USCG captain's license when charging a fee. All of the largemouth bass fishing guides employed by The Southern Outdoorsman Guide Service are U.S. Coast Guard licensed captains.
* We Treat You and/or Your Business with Respect
Whether you are looking to fish for largemouth bass by yourself, with a friend, family, or as a business outing, you can rest assured that we’re going to work with you to meet your needs. We’re committed to providing you with an experience that you won't soon forget. We approach every client with a focus on making it the best fishing trip ever, regardless of previous experience. Our largemouth bass fishing guides specialize in teaching those who have never even had a rod and reel in their hands.
Focus On God and Family
We are a Christian-based business and we like to focus on families with children, which is why we offer largemouth bass fishing trips aboard pontoon boats. This is just another way to help keep families together, and to teach the youth how to be good stewards of the land and waters. It gives everyone (up to 4 at a time)the chance to fish at the same time. Plus, there are amenities aboard a pontoon boat that are not available on bass boats, such as a port-a-potty and a sun deck.
No one can truly guarantee that you will catch a trophy largemouth bass ... or any fish, for that matter. There are too many variables involved, such as: not setting the hook strong enough; not keeping enough tension on the fish; the fish jumps and throws the hook; the live bait (shiner) gets the hook buried into it instead of the bass; or you might catch another species of fish that frequent the same areas as the bass. But we do guarantee that our guides will put you on fish, which means you are extremely likely to get several opportunities to catch largemouth bass. And we guarantee that our guides will teach you and/or help you do whatever it takes to get your catch into the boat.
One way for businesses to show their appreciation to their employees or other business associates is to take them on a guided largemouth bass fishing trip. Some businesses will schedule this around a yearly meeting at a local lodging establishment that offers additional activities. We coordinate with other largemouth bass fishing guides to provide either pontoon boats and/or bass boats for everyone who wants to fish. The fishing trip(s) can be arranged around your meeting schedules.
About this trip
A 6 hour trip begins begins at approximately 7:00 a.m., or first light, and you will fish for 6 hours and come in shortly after 1:00 p.m. (depending upon how long it takes to get to your fishing spot). You are welcome to pack a light lunch to enjoy while on the water. You may need to bring a cooler as there might not be enough room in the beverage cooler that is provided.
Then your Orlando area bass fishing guide or Kissimmee fishing guide will bring you back to the location where you met that morning. At that time you will pay the guide for your day(s) trip(s), plus bait.
